Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- Usual dosage: 1000 mg (2 tablets) twice daily (morning and evening)
- Take with food
Renal Dose: Safe in kidney disease; no dose adjustment recommended
Child Dose: Not recommended

- Hypoglycemia (low blood glucose)

- Sweating
Precautions & warnings
Precautions:
- It is not known whether Imeglimin alters the ability to drive
- Hypoglycemic symptoms may occur; be cautious when working at heights, driving, or operating dangerous machinery
- If hypoglycemia occurs, take sugar-containing foods or sugar (if taking alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, take glucose)
- Dose reduction may be required for patients with renal impairment (eGFR <15 mL/min/1.73 m2)
