Dr. A B M Sarwar-E-Alam is a Senior Consultant at Asgar Ali Hospital, Gandaria, Dhaka, practising in Internal Medicine.

Qualifications

• Dr. A B M Sarwar-e-Alam graduated from Rajshahi Medical College in 1976 (Held on 1978).
• After completing his internship, he worked as Medical Officer, then Assistant Surgeon on special duty in the same institute till 1980.
• Dr. Sarwar joined as Assistant Surgeon at Lakkhipasha Thana Health Complex, Narail in 1984.
• He worked as Assistant Registrar in Medical Unit, BSMMU (then IPGMR) and successfully obtained his FCPS in Internal Medicine.
• Afterward, Dr. Sarwar traveled to KSA where he joined as a Medical Specialist and worked in different hospitals in Medina region till 1999, such as – Badar General Hospital, Meeqat Hospital, Al Ansar Hospital.
• Thereafter promoted and worked as Consultant Physician in King Fahad Hospital, Al-Medina Al-Munawara, KSA from 1999-2003.
• After returning to Bangladesh he joined in Ad-Din Hospital, Dhaka as Senior Consultant Physician and worked till January 2007.
• In the year 2007, he joined in Square Hospital, Dhaka as Consultant Physician in Internal Medicine and worked till April 2016.
• He has publications on his respective subject in different national & international journals and attended number of Conferences and presented Scientific Papers in home & abroad.
• He also got Advanced Training in Abdominal Ultrasonography in King Fahad Hospital, KSA and participated actively in different Academic Activities there.
• Now Dr. Sarwar is working at Asgar Ali Hospital as Senior Consultant – Internal Medicine and serving patients regularly.
