Qualifications

• MBBS, MRCP (Medicine, UK)
• M-MED (Masters in Nephrology, UK)
• Dr. Md. Shahjahan graduated with an MBBS degree from Sylhet M.A.G Osmani Medical College and ranked second in the Chittagong University merit list.
• He obtained a Master of Medicine degree (M MED) in Nephrology from the University of Sheffield in the UK and passed with merit.
• Dr. Shahjahan has passed the MRCP (Medicine) in the UK, also he is member of Royal College of Physician, London (MRCP, London).
• He joined government service and posted as an Assistant Registrar (Medicine) at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
• Dr. Shahjahan then started his career as an Emergency Medical Officer at Al Baraka Medical Clinic in Jeddah, KSA, and Wahat Al Shifa Medical Centre in Medina, KSA.
• He served as a Consultant in Acute Medicine at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow, London, United Kingdom.
• Before joining Asgar Ali Hospital, Dr. Shahjahan worked as a Consultant in Medicine at Glan Clwyd Hospital NHS Trust, United Kingdom.
• He has actively participated in different academic activities including teaching and training as well as attended national & international seminars, conference and presented scientific papers.
• Dr. Shahjahan has several research papers, published in various national and international journals.
• Presently Dr. Md. Shahjahan is working at Asgar Ali Hospital as Consultant – Internal Medicine and serving patients regularly.
