Prof. Dr. Anwar Israil

Prof. Dr. Anwar Israil is an MBBS and MD (Neurology) qualified Neurologist currently serving as Senior Consultant, Department of Neurology at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. He completed his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College and his MD in Neurology from the University of Dhaka. He joined Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) in 1997 and served across various medical colleges, hospitals, and national institutions during his long government career. He worked at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) and at Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital. After obtaining his MD in Neurology, he worked at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, Dhaka in various capacities for more than 13 years, including as Professor of Clinical Neurology. He was actively involved in the teaching and academic development of postgraduate students. He is an active member of the Society of Neurologists of Bangladesh (SNB) and has several national publications.
