Prof. Dr. Abdul Kader Shaikh

Prof. Dr. Abdul Kader Shaikh is an MBBS, FCPS (Internal Medicine), and MD (Neurology) qualified Neurologist and Senior Consultant and Coordinator of the Department of Neurology at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. He completed his MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College, Barisal, followed by his FCPS in Internal Medicine and MD in Neurology. Prior to joining Evercare Hospital Dhaka, he served as Professor in the Department of Neurology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka. He was Incharge of the Headache Clinic at BSMMU for more than 15 years. He has more than 24 years of teaching experience and has served at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital, Barisal; Dhaka Medical College; and BSMMU. He also worked as a part-time Senior Consultant in Neuro-medicine at Square Hospital Ltd. and Ibn Sina Hospital and Diagnostic Centre. His field of interest includes Critical Care Neurology. He has numerous publications in national and international journals and has attended seminars both in Bangladesh and abroad.
