Dr. S.M. Hasan Shahriar

Dr. S.M. Hasan Shahriar is an MBBS, MRCP (UK), MRCP Speciality Certificate in Neurology (UK), and FRCP Edinburgh qualified Neurologist with over 15 years of experience in Neurology. He currently serves as Senior Consultant, Department of Neurology at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. He completed his MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College under the University of Dhaka, obtained his MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK, and subsequently achieved the MRCP (UK) Speciality Certificate Examination in Neurology from the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians and the Association of British Neurologists. He was awarded a Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He has a special interest in Stroke and Neuromuscular Disorders, and established the Acute Stroke Centre and Thrombolysis service at United Hospital Dhaka. He obtained speciality training in Clinical Neuro Electrophysiology (NCS and EMG). He has worked at Apollo Hospitals Dhaka as a core member of the Neurology team for nine years, at The Hillingdon Hospital, Uxbridge, UK, and at United Hospital Limited, Dhaka as a Consultant Neurologist for five years prior to joining Evercare Hospital Dhaka.
