Dr. Debashis Chowdhury

Dr. Debashis Chowdhury is a Senior Consultant in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Evercare Hospital Chattogram. He completed his MBBS from Dhaka University in 1987 and MD in Gastroenterology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in 1998. He has over 25 years of experience in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine, having served as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Chittagong Medical College, Rangpur Medical College, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, and CMOSH Medical College. He received advanced international clinical training in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy, Hepatology, Liver Transplant Care, and Critical Care Medicine from the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (India), University of Alberta Hospital (Canada), McGill University Health Centre (Canada), and St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto (Canada). His clinical expertise includes diagnosis and management of Fatty Liver Disease, Liver Cirrhosis, Liver Failure, Viral Hepatitis (B and C), Gastrointestinal Bleeding, IBD, IBS, Peptic Ulcer Disease, GERD, Pancreatic and Biliary Disorders, and Gastrointestinal Cancers. He has presented research at ESMO World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer and APDW, and is an International Member of the American College of Gastroenterology and a Member of the Bangladesh Gastroenterology Society.
