Dr. M. Shish Rahman

Interest: Cornea and surface disorders, Corneal Transplantation PK, DALK, TPI-PK,SALK, AMG,DSEK Phacoemulsification, LASIK/ Refractive Surgery, Collagen Cross Linking.

Dr.M. Shish Rahman specializes in Cornea and Anterior segment surgeries. He is also keenly interested in Refractive IOL and Kerato Surgeries.

During 2008-9 he completed his longterm fellowship in cornea and anterior segment from Ispahani Islamia Institute of Ophthalmology and LVPEI of India. He was trained by famous Cornea specialists Dr. SA Hassan, Prof Sarwar Alam and Dr Shahriyar Hasan and Dr. Nibaron Gangopaddhay.

He is teaching in BSMMU as an Assist. Prof. for more than 8 years. Currently he is also the Resident Surgeon of Dept. of Community Ophthalmology and consultant of Bangladesh Eye Hospital. His credential Includes more than 7000 cataract surgeries including 3000 phaco surgeries and also more than 400 Cornea transplants for Sandhani International Eye Bank. He has 21 publications in national and International journals.

• Diploma in Ophthalmology from National Institute of Ophthalmology
• FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons BCPS
