Dr. Syed Jahangir Kabir

working as a Consultant and Head of the Glaucoma Department and Associate Professor at Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital (IIEI&H) and served the institute in different capacities for 11 years.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he actively served the academic wing of the institute. He is the trainer of long term fellowship program in Glaucoma at IIEI & H. He has trained fellows and postgraduate residents.

He is experienced in treating and managing all forms of glaucoma related disorders of all age groups. He has performed high volume glaucoma and cataract surgery as well as different laser procedures for glaucoma.

Dr. Jahangir’s clinical interests focus on providing highly specialized consultations in the diagnosis and medical, surgical, as well as laser treatment of all forms of glaucoma.

He enjoys teaching and is committed to training next generation ophthalmology residents and fellows. Dr. Jahangir has several national and international publications & presented papers in international conferences.
