Prof. Dr. Shaikh Md. Hasan Mamun

Prof. Dr. Shaikh Md. Hasan Mamun is a Senior Consultant and Coordinator in Cardiology at Evercare Hospital Chattogram. He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College with distinction in 1995, MD in Cardiology from NICVD in 2003, FCPS in Internal Medicine from BCPS in 2004, MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians London in 2010 on his first attempt, and FRCP in November 2022. He is one of very few consultants in Bangladesh holding all three national and international clinical degrees. He worked for about five years as an Internist and Senior Specialist Cardiologist in a UAE government tertiary hospital, gaining hands-on experience in Primary and Bifurcation PCI, IABP, IVUS, and OCT from world-renowned interventional cardiologists. He started the Cath Lab at Chittagong Medical College and performed the first Coronary Angiogram in Chittagong in 2004. He has over 20 years of experience in Interventional and Non-Invasive Cardiology with special focus on complex, multi-vessel, left main and bifurcation PCI, Permanent Pacemaker, AICD, and CRTD.
