Dr. Shams Munwar

Dr. Shams Munwar is a Senior Consultant in Cardiology at Evercare Hospital Chattogram. He graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1985 and completed higher medical training in the UK, working in the National Health Service from 1988 to 1995. He obtained MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK in 1992 and Diploma in Cardiology from the University of London in 1995 under Prof. Celia Oakley at Hammersmith Hospital. He completed his Interventional Fellowship from Wentworth Hospital, University of Natal, South Africa, and obtained FRCP from London in July 2010. He has over 14 years of experience in Cardiology. Before joining Evercare, he served as Head of the Department of Cardiology at Z.H. Sikder Women's Medical College.
