Prof. Dr. Md. Shahabuddin Talukder

Prof. Dr. Md. Shahabuddin Talukder is an MBBS, D.Card (NICVD), and FCPS (Medicine) qualified Interventional Cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in Interventional Cardiology. He obtained his MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College and received training in Internal Medicine from Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital, Dhaka, and Dhaka Medical College. He subsequently earned his D.Card from NICVD and his FCPS in Medicine. He received further training in Interventional Cardiology from NICVD and Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai, India, and specialised training in Intra-Cardiac Device Implantation from Germany. He also served as a physician in the Health Service of Iran, recognised by UNICEF as one of the most excellent primary health systems. He currently serves as Senior Consultant, Department of Cardiology Care Centre at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. His areas of expertise include Coronary Angiogram and Angioplasty, Carotid and Peripheral Angiogram and Angioplasty, Permanent Pacemaker (PMP) implantation, AICD implantation, and CRT-D and CRT-P implantation. He is a specialist in complex Chronic Total Occlusion and Angioplasty Intracardiac Device implantation.
