Dr. Tamzeed Ahmed

Dr. Tamzeed Ahmed is an MBBS, MRCP (UK), FRCP, FACC, and FSCAI qualified Interventional Cardiologist with over 30 years of experience in Interventional Cardiology. He is one of the most experienced physicians in Bangladesh in performing Coronary, Carotid, and Peripheral Angiogram and Angioplasty through radial and femoral methods, and is highly skilled in Intra-cardiac Device Implantation. He obtained his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1988 and joined the Institute of Post-Graduate Medicine and Research. He obtained his MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK in 1995. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at Wentworth Hospital, University of Natal, Durban, South Africa in 1999. He subsequently worked at King Abdul Aziz Cardiac Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a premier cardiovascular institute of the Middle East. He became Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP) in 2005, Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) in 2007, and Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, USA (FSCAI). In 2018, he was conferred the adjunct title of Professor by the Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation, India. He currently serves as Senior Consultant, Department of Cardiology Care Centre at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. Before joining Evercare Hospital Dhaka, he worked at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and Research Institute, Dhaka.
